Those who have traveled with me, or talked about eating with me, know that I have a slight obsession with vegan buffalo wings. For those of you who have ever been curious about where that started, here is your answer: Handlebar's Buffalo 'Chicken' Wrap. Breaded 'chicken' in buffalo sauce, wrapped with fresh tomatoes, romaine, red onions and a vegan ranch dressing, this is a taste combo to remember. That bit of green you see in the background is a pile of collard greens, my new favorite side dish at Handlebar. I'm not a big fan of their french fries (thin and greasy- I like a crisp fry), so these greens are a perfect alternative. Spicy buffalo wrap with salty, garlicky greens? It's the perfect combo to start an obsession.
